Commercial Sales & Property Manager M. 0429110649
A Metung resident of over 9 years has joined the team at Metung Real Estate. Maryanne has a diverse background, having worked in Australia as well as in 2 different overseas countries. She started her working career in banking, undertaking a range of banking activities, before transferring into the financial market areas, where she acted as a Corporate Money Market Dealer.
She undertook a 3 year expatriate relocation stole, in the Republic of Taiwan, for the large international chemical company, ICI. It was building the large chemical plant outside of Taipei City, and she co-ordinated all aspects associated with the relocation of approx. 60 key expats, and their families from around the world, into Taiwan, These activities included applying for work permits, housing, transportation, schooling, and a wide range of other duties.
Following her return to Melbourne in 1992, she started her own executive relocation business, and assisted upper level expats and their families from across the globe, in their relocation to Melbourne.
In 1998, she was off to P.N.G. where over the next 10 years, she acted as the CEO of both the PNG Manufacturers Council, and the PNG Business Council and established an environmental advisory committee (PEAK), all of which required extensive contact with corporate entities in PNG and abroad, as well as PNG Government and independent environmental consultants. In her roles, she was based on Port Moresby, but travelled around PNG on various projects associated with these challenging roles.
Following repatriation back to Melbourne in 2008, and a couple of years enjoying what Melbourne has to offer, she relocated to Metung.
After setting up her family home, she has the desire to put her past experience to better use than growing tomatoes and looking after her gorgeous mini dachshunds, and enjoying her garden. She is looking forward to a long and mutually beneficial relationship with Metung Real Estate, and would welcome any clients, or potential clients out in the community, to call her at the Metung office to discuss any property or sales management issues or requirements.
